Memories of Bustle 賑わいの記憶
There is an old building on the old boulevard in the town.
The historical store, which used to be a pawnshop, is open to the public to show the bustling old days.
The founder's family donated the library to the town and it's still being taken over for 120 years.
町の旧商店街に蔵造りの古い建物がある。
明治時代に質屋だったその建物は一般公開されて、古い城下町の賑わいを今に伝えている。
ここは東京銀座天賞堂の創業者の生家だとか。
町の高台には明治時代に創業家から寄贈された図書館「天賞文庫」があり、建て替えを経て現在の姿に至る。
